What does the Church teach today about race?
The Short Answer
Race is no barrier to anything in the gospel — period. Official Declaration 2 records the 1978 revelation extending the priesthood to every worthy man regardless of race. President Nelson and other leaders have been clear: prejudice has no place in the Church.
