What does DNA evidence say about the Book of Mormon?
The Short Answer
DNA tests can't really prove or disprove the Book of Mormon. The population it talks about was small and ancient, and we don't even know exactly where in the Americas it lived. The Church's essay walks through this honestly. The real test is what Moroni said — read it and ask God (Moroni 10:4–5).
